About Toni
Deliberately honest and emotional, Toni's photography reveals random moments in the act of simple existence of individuals and their presumed anonymity, and allows their moment to become eternal.
Purchased her first analog camera in 2018 with no concept of the meaning of ISO and aperture, she strolled through New York City and trial-and-error shoot every interesting individual that sprung her lens. She developed an admiration for film photography and started observing and capturing the blues of people within their coexistence. Now traveling to different countries digital and analog to catch new stories written between the lines of each city. Her focus claims the simple life, the ugly truth, love in all shapes and forms, and faces that explain life more than any written word.
Her goal is to create images that allow the observer to start conversations that seem irrelevant to us individually or might even be difficult to realise in their existence.
She is based in Berlin and finds new temporary homes whenever there is a desire to meet new faces.
